The Microsoft Teams plugin app is not a verified Publisher because running the query: whois msteams-atlassian.com is indicating that domain:msteams-atlassian.com current registar is 'SoftServe' not Atlassian.

      Issue Summary

      The Microsoft Teams plugin app is not a verified Publisher because as per the Microsoft Document: Mark your app as publisher verified it is mentioned as:

      1. Ensure the app’s publisher domain is set.
      2. Ensure that either the publisher domain or a DNS-verified custom domain on the tenant matches the domain of the email address used during the verification process for your MPN account.

       
      When we run whois msteams-atlassian.com command we can see that the Domain Registrant is still “SoftServe” not “Atlassian”.

      Run query: whois msteams-atlassian.com

      For example: Observe the Registrant Organization when you query: msteams-atlassian.com

            I would expect to see Atlassian mentioned as application publisher. Currently it is set as "jira-server.msteams-atlassian.com" which is not a company name, neither is the app published by a verified developer.

            That and the fact that Atlassian does not own this domain, according to domain whois records, makes this issue somewhat critical.
