Currently, Jira Cloud for Outlook doesn't fully support shared mailboxes. In some cases, attachments are not uploaded or the add-in is not available at all.

If the add-in is available, it's confusing that the "Include X attachments" is visible because it won't work.

            [API-186] Support shared mailboxes

Thank you so much for this new development.  Our entire company has been thrilled!

Dear Jira Cloud for Outlook add-in users,

We are thrilled to announce that we have launched support for shared mailboxes.

This feature has been integrated into the latest version of the add-in which should have automatically been updated in your mailbox by now. If you've noticed that the update hasn't taken place, we recommend reinstalling the add-in. Please reach out to your organization's administrator if the add-in is deployed across the organization. Rest assured, reinstalling the add-in is a safe operation and won't result in any data loss.

If you encounter any issues using the add-in with shared mailboxes, please let us know.

We would really love this feature to be able to manage issues from a shared inbox.

So annyoing that we can't make use of shared mailboxes with the add-in, in my case the add-in dosn't show at all when viewing a shared mailbox

My current workaround, add a password to the shared mailbox under users and log in directly with this account. You then gain access to the shared mailbox.

But according to Microsoft docs the access should be done like described here

            https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/client-developer/legacy-protocols/how-to-authenticate-an-imap-pop-smtp-application-by-using-oauth#sasl-xoauth2-authentication-for-shared-mailboxes-in-office-365

Good afternoon, is there any update on this request?
Being able to Jira items in a Delegated mailbox or Shared Mailbox would be immensely helpful. I see other Add-ins like Salesforce work fine in this scenario.
This ticket has a lot of votes and from Paul Benario's comment it sounds like its an easy win. I'd be happy to test out a beta /Release Candidate.
