Non-ASCII characters within imported data to OnDemand (JIRA Cloud) are rendered incorrectly

Imported data into OnDemand instances, where non-ASCII characters are present are being rendered as: ��

Scope:
The location of the incorrect rendered data can occur in both JIRA tickets and the comments on JIRA tickets.

Workaround:
Please raise a support request at support.atlassian.com if you have encountered issues with your imported data.
