      Issue Summary

The user session never expires if the user keeps the browser window open and has a continuous internet connection.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Configure the session timeout to 2 hours
      2. Log in to the Atlassian cloud and keep a browser window open for more than 2 hours without doing anything actively.

      Expected Results

The user should be re-authenticated as the user's idle timeout session has expired.

The customer expectation is that inactive browser activity shouldn't consider the user as active.

      Actual Results

We keep the session active and never trigger the Idle session timeout.

      Workaround

      • Close all the browser windows.
