Google Integration (Large Workspaces) Fails

      Issue Summary

      When attempting to integrate with Google workspace the integration fails after the admin connects to their Workspace

      This issue occurs with a sufficiently large Google Workspace tenant:

      200 + Domains
      30000 + Groups

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create an IDP in your Atlassian Organisation
      2. Choose Google Workspace
      3. Click Sign in to Google
      4. Sign in with admin account and grant permissions.

      Expected Results

      Successfully connected

      Actual Results

      Spinning wheel happens and then eventually fails with something went wrong.

      Checking logs you might see:

      [org.springframework.web.context.request.async.AsyncRequestNotUsableException: ServletOutputStream failed to write: java.io.IOException: Broken pipe]

      Workaround

      The current best work around is to use SCIM based provisioning with Google Cloud:
