When provisioning a group with 10,000 members or more via Okta, the initial sync will fail with the following error.

Resource [GROUP] Exceeded group member limit of 10000 per group operation; please use additional group patch operation to add/replace/remove members

Suggestion :
Please coordinate with Okta to set the following configurations to be by default for the SCIM application in Okta. This will allow the group membership to be provisioned in batches. 

• Custom Patch Batch Size=1000
• Separate Group and Membership Creation

Workaround
Option 1 : Decrease the Okta group membership below 10000 and provision the group to Atlassian cloud. After the group has been provisioned, increase the group membership as needed.

Option 2 : Please reach out to Okta support directly and request for the following configurations to be applied to the Okta SCIM application encountering the error.
