Does anyone have any ideas about how authentication could be done for Jira and Confluence using X.509 digital certificates? I understand that things can be customized through OSUser but I’m not sure how that would work with digital certificates. Without a username or password, is OSUser any help? If so, could Confluence/Jira be modified to remove things like the ability for users to change their password?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated as I’m trying to figure out the best way to integrate these products into an environment that uses X.509 certificates exclusively.

      Thanks,

      Jeff
