Cannot search JIRA issue summaries containing mixed English and Japanese characters

      This is related to the support issue raised here:
      https://support.atlassian.com/browse/JSP-21188

      One of our customers created an issue with summary "2.1.0RCテスト" (without quotation mark) in their JIRA.
      They found they cannot find the issue by posting search query word "RCテスト" although they can by using "0RCテスト",
      " 2.1", "テスト" (all without quotation marks). They tried this with various languages for indexing but results were same.

      We request an improvement to the searching capability of JIRA.
