I would like a feature to override/alter the behavior of the "Single E-mail Address" field in a notification scheme. I understand why the feature is the way it is currently, but a change in this behavior is the number one request/complaint from my users. We have a tightly controlled JIRA installation with all projects browsable only by users with appropriate permission schemes. However we would also like to have an e-mail generated to be delievered to a shared IMAP mailbox that has similarly strict ACL structure. The easiest and most efficient way to accomplish this would be to have an override to the "Single E-mail Address" field that sent e-mail regardless of project permissions. Please consider this as a feature addition to an upcoming release. Please let me know if you need more information.
