Currently in JIRA, when moving issues to another project, we have the option to retain the version in the target project.
However, if the same version does not exist in the target project, the version or FixVersion will be blank once the issue is moved unless the version is created before moving. As a JIRA administrator that need to perform bulk move from a project with a huge number of versions, this procedure can be a pain, as it will take long to create every version, specially if there are multiple projects to move issues.
It would be great if the Move Issue wizard could create the Version in the target project if the version does not exist before moving.
