      Problem Definition

      When Synchronizing users/ Groups from LDAP, the group attribute, description is not displayed in the JIRA UI and there is no option to display it. The description is stored in the database table cwd_group but, we are not certain what is the use of it, when we are not using it anywhere in JIRA (UI perspective).

      Suggested Solution

      • Display group Description in JIRA UI.
      • Have an option to display group description.

      Workaround

      No workaround at the moment.
