It would be great to have more information and control associated with versions. For example:

• A real workflow for versions – including stages, who's working on them, their location in the repository, and the release status.
• Release dates as a seperate piece of information. Release notes are great but I would like to quickly see when a version was publically released.
• Associate this version workflow status with the issues that are fixed in that version
