Description
NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Cloud. Using JIRA Server? See the corresponding suggestion.
Description
I love the way Jira integrates with its current development tools to create branches and code reviews. It would be even better if Jira natively supported Gitlab (Hosted or The Users Own Servers) just like it supports Stash/BitBucket/Github.
Gitlab is growing in terms of its user base and is definitely a source repository that should be supported out of the box.
Workaround
You can either:
- Use the free app released by Gitlab. Please notice that it is now possible to also use the free app to integrate with self-hosted Gitlab, as documented in: Install the GitLab.com for Jira Cloud app for self-managed instances
- Follow the instructions in https://docs.gitlab.com/ee/user/project/integrations/jira.html
- Use any of the other app (free or paid) available on our marketplace: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/search?hosting=cloud&product=jira&query=gitlab
