It is impossible to search for issues which don't have due dates assigned. If no value is given "Due Before" and "Due after" then any issue is returned independent if has a due date assigned or not.

Hi Chris,

By your comment I am guessing you are hinting at a negative search.

I have linked this issue to another already present that relates to your request.

Please vote for this linked issue and/or comment on this.

Cheers,
Justin

This issue is critical for us aswell.

Using our current sprint workflow, issues that are moved into the sprint come from a pool of issues with no due dates. With our current issue database contains hundreds of issues some scheduled, some not, we have a strong need for filtering on "no due date".

Ideally the due date picker would have an added option:

===========================================================
Filter Issues
Use this form to filter issues based on due date period.

  • NO DUE DATE SET
  • Now overdue
  • More than XXX days overdue.
  • Due in next XXX days overdue.
  • In range from XXX to XXXX
    ===========================================================

Although negative searching would be nice, I think this is a distinct use case that can be handled without implementing something that involved. I like David Wiblin's suggestion in this area, that sounds reasonable to me.

Like others who comment on this, the inability to display items without a due date is limiting, as it makes it difficult to depict work that is unscheduled.

I'd also like to see such a feature!
