We're tracking a Print issue (outside of simple browser print) in
That issue seems to have diverged somewhat but if the original intent of the reporter is met then yes, that should yield a solution to this problem as well. All I am looking for is the format (and data) of a single issue print be the same as it would if I had clicked the Full Content view from the navigator.
Oh and yes Justin, that data is important. My bad for using that choice of words.
In 3.7 - the top right now goes to the printable view of an issue.

When you say "unimportant data" I assume you mean the Key, Type, Status, Priority, Asignee etc.
I agree with the unused space on a multiple page printout, but not everyone would agree that the data is unimportant. Perhaps a better solution would be to place this data into the main area of the page, instead of displaying it as a side column?
Also if your data is being truncated when printed, you may wish to choose the Page setup option "Shrink to fit page width" (Firefox). When doing a print preview in IE I didn't see any truncation happening (IE 6)
Cheers,
Justin
