We just noticed that creating release notes in the new 3.4b1 version does not work anymore.
It does not matter, where you create them, either directly by pressing "Release notes" in the changelog, or generating HTML or TEXT output
using the "Relase notes" link in the project details.

The catalina log shows:

2005-11-03 09:58:44,516 ERROR [velocity] Left side ($issueType.issues.size())
 of '>' operation has null value. Operation not possible. 
templates/jira/project/releasenotes/releasenotes-text.vm [line 33, column 31]

You can test it by creating release notes on this server here

Could you please provide an intermediate fix for that problem? Thank you very much.

Andreas,
We came across this and have already fixed this for the 3.4 final. I have just retested it and it works fine. 3.4 will be out any day now.

We came accross this during another bug and did not create an issue for it, so i will resolve this one for 3.4.
