I know this is an improvement, but we need to do this as a lot of users are complaining!

I have expanded the explaination to describe what a publically visbible issue is in JIRA. This is changed on the admin page and in the JIRA docs.

Can you provide more detail on what this issue is?

Does this mean that when JIRA sends out an email, it will now contain all recipients in that email, i.e. a list of recipients? (as opposed to what it does now by sending individual emails?)

If it doesn't mean that...

1. can we log a new request for that?
2. what does this issue mean?

Cheers, no worries.

Hi Owen,

This issue related to updating the description of the Single Email Address configuration within a Notification Scheme.

The Single Email Address allows any email to be added as a recipient of the notification. It is possible to add a single email address multiple times. The email notification will be forwarded to all specified users.

The email will still be sent to each individual user as opposed to a list of recipients.

Can you please raise a new feature request to allow configuration of the recipient list - i.e. a single email to all users or an email to each individual user. Just to note, there may be limits on the number of recipients for a single email imposed by the mail server.

Regards,
Keith
