I have created a text field which needs to be more than 255 characters. I configured my issue navigator see display that field. However, it only displays the first 60 or so characters, and then just displays "...".

I think I could live with the problem of showing the "..." on the web interface (since you wouldn't want a field of unlimited length to screw up the browser display), but the Excel (current fields) output should be smart enough to export the entire field value, which DOES export correctly when using the "All fields" export.. This may be similar to JRA-6570.

Hi Neal,
I've marked this fix for 3.3.
We just need to use the normal view tamplate for excel.

Cheers,
Nick

Made the limited view not truncate the string if it is rendering an excel view.
