We have fixed Standalone for 3.2 by replacing Tomcat's jars in common/lin - see JRA-6860

However the exception described in JRA-6860 still occurs for people who try to deploy the JIRA WAR into their Tomcat instance.

Need to get to the bottom of the problem and work out a solution.

I added notes to the tomcat4 install docs alerting users to this error and pointing them to the confluence page that tells how to fix it.
