I would love to see a new action for a particular bug--to email the bug to different people. You would click on the left rail for an option to email this bug to various people. I have seen this feature in other bug tracking systems and find it very useful. I can always copy and past the url now, but it is very handy to just email from the bug itself, and that bug would be in the content of the email with space to write comments.

Hey Anton, did you really mean for your JRA permission scheme to allow end users like us to "link" issues (and manage links), since we cannot edit them?

Yes, we would like users to be able to link issues together, for example, link issues as related, etc. I am not sure what you mean by 'edit them'. It is possible to link issues event if you cannot edit them.
