Thanks.

Ovidiu,

This is a current limitation of the custom fields searching at the moment and cannot be done

Cheers

Having this feature would be nice, when you have a large number of tickets, it is a little annoying having to sort by the field you want find nulls for, eport to excel and then delete the entreis with the field populated.

At the moment the only way to "get around" the searching limitation is to find issues using another criteria, add the custom field to the list of displayed columns and then sort by the custom field value.

I think that this feature is really useful.

Ray Oei [Furore] - 09/Oct/06 04:54 AM
Very very useful!
But on the same note: I also want to be able to search for not empty (custom) fields.

Jeff Heinen - 08/Feb/08 10:36 AM
I will note that the work around does not work when you are using the filter to generate a confluence page or your search base is very large. It displays an extraordinarily large number incorrect items, and thus defeating the whole purpose of the filter.

This would also be very useful for us. Especially searching for custom fields of type Version, where the version is Empty.
