The find issues page is quite slow to come up in systems with a large number (around 50 or more) and /or issue types.

The problem was introduced in 3.0 as field layout scheme caching was removed.

The cache has been retsored, however the first request to "Find Issues" page will still be slow. Subsequent requests will be much faster due to caching.

Reopened to set the affected version and fix version to Enterprise, as only the enterprise edition should be affected by this bug.

Are you saying the first request for each user will be slow or just the first request to Jira regardless of user?

Jeff Turner [Atlassian] added a comment - 20/Oct/04 01:08 AM
Bob,

The caching is global, so the first request from any user will be slow, and subsequent requests from any user faster.
