It is currently only possible to find Issues that were updated before a certain date. This is will not provide a "moving" 1 month target but you would be able to do a one off search for the Issues you require.

SUBJECT: Re: [JIRA] Commented: (JRA-4605) new filter criteria: add NOT to all existing criteria Right, that's what I figured. What I really want (of course) is the moving one month (or whatever) target. It's not like it's a critical need, and I can just run a one off filter each time, but I'd like to slap a saved filter on my dashboard. What would a person do if they wanted to see issues for all versions of a product (released or not) EXCEPT for one version (new dev vs. monthly patches)? The only way to do this currently is to update the filter every time a patch version is released. It would be much easier to select the version you want to exclude, and check an "Exclude" checkbox.
Hi Ryan,
You are correct, at the moment you can not do proper exclusion searching in JIRA. On the radar for our internal roadmap to 4.0 is the revamp of the issue navigator which should allow more complex searches. I can't really commit to a time frame on when this will be implemented but as I say, it is in our plans for the future. Dylan Please vote for JRA-1560; that seems to be where all the votes are being pooled for this.
