Description
We have 2 users who cannot log on using the LDAP connector.
Neither of them have logged on before.
One has a hyphen in her last name.
The other does not.
We see this in the log files.

I read this issue:
https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-43286
But I cannot locate the one it refers to:
JSP-230177
When we log on and view the users, we do see many inactive users.
Our user directory is configured with LDAP first and then Jira.
A workaround we have applied for now is manually adding them.
