It would be very convenient to let me choose which groups a new user is a member of at the same time I create one. Right now I have to go through several extra steps to create anyone who isn't just a plain jira user.

It would be even nicer to be able to specify this group when the user is automatically created when he or she sends an email for the first time (and auto user creation is enabled).
