Forgive me if this a duplicate, I search existing issues but nothing came up that addressed finding only the number portion of a key.

Please add a field that allows you to simply enter only the number of a issue key to the "Issue Attributes" section of the default search filter. This would also be a very handy feature to have available at all times (i.e., like the quick search or a portlet).

[behavior]
If the "All Projects" is selected then it will return every issue with that number in its key otherwise it will only return the issues having that number in its key for the selected project.

This would also be useful to be able to list a number of issue keys in the box. One user says this:

How can one best 'tag' a number of issues to retrieve as a list (i.e. saved filter). As all of our users do this, using a custom field is not really an option. In Photo Viewers you typically have a concept named 'viewbox' to contain the photos you are currently interested in. Your watch list is something like this, but it's very cumbersome to add the issues to and I can have only one.

Very typically I get a list of a few issues transmitted by mail; now I have to look them through one by one.rather then being able to e.g. enter the numbers
with some separator in the quick search field and then get the whole list of the issues, which I could then save as a filter.
