say we set "affect version(s)" to 2.4, we would not find it when looking for issues of v2.5.3
we would like to find all issues open in a previous version of v2.5.3 (for instance) and not fixed in v2.5.3.
it would be great to make this generic (to all custom field also) - maybe you could look at the census (metaquest) behaviour, where it is possible to compare a field by generic tests (less than, greater than etc.)
