I like the new user picker, but I wanted to select a group name for a filter I was creating.

Could we show the group name above the list of users, and make it clickkable? It would close the user picker, and put the group name in my filter box, just like when I click highlighted user row in the table.

I'm not sure if we should try to generalize the user picker for this. That widget is occasionally used in places where groups aren't allowed. Since one has to choose 'Specify User' or 'Specify Group' before the picker is enabled, we know which the user wants. A separate Group picker sounds like a better idea. I've raised this as JRA-2660.
