Same circumstances as JRA-1619, different error.

I created a new group and searched on it. It returned only a very small subset of issues assigned to members of the group.

We cannot identify any common features in the issues that are returned vs. issues that are not returned.

Likewise, we cannot identify any relevant differences between the new group that fails and older groups that work. We even changed the permissions of the new group to match the permissions of an existing group that works, but it didn't help.

This is Critical priority for us (although I followed the documentation and only listed it as Major). We need to be able to filter for issues that are assigned to developers in our geographic location, or other specific groups.

I tried filtering on a different group, one whose membership changed recently. The filter returned all of the issues assigned to people who had been in the group two weeks ago, even though one of them is no longer in the group. Is some database not being refreshed somewhere?

When a user is assigned to or removed from a group their issues are reindexed to reflect these changes
