Services page should mention setup of mail server connection

In example of service (POP3 mail handler) we don't mention a need of setting up the connection to mail server (outlined at http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/docs/latest/issue_creation_email.html ) .

In step 5 or 6 we should have a note saying 'ensure that you configure mailserver beforehand'

You are asked "Enter text values for service properties below. Any empty fields will be set to NULL in the Service's initialization. ".

You are asked for a number of values, using either dropdown boxes or text fields. The "server" value however offers no text field or drop down box, but instead gives the cryptic error "Could not find any values for field 'Server'. ".

The message gives the end user no clue at the course of action they must take to fix this error, and the docs make no clear reference that some vital step is required before any of this configuration is likely to work.

I could obviously do the standard waste-my-time-digging-in-google and eventually stumble upon the solution, but the real solution is for this error to be properly handled, not just sent out to an end user who has no clue what action is necessary to correct the error condition.
