      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Server. Using JIRA Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      The SOAP Service is lacking a lot of Version Management functions.
      It would be great to be at least possible to update version fields and most important Merge 2 versions through the SOAP API
