In SAC there are about 30 cases created in last 6months related to MS SQL 2005.

Significant number is related to the configuration of MS SQL. It seems that the customers don't have enough experience in managing they own database server and are unable to set up the JIRA database correctly.

Since in most cases the windows administrators need "special" care, this document should guide them step by step through the set up process.

Instructions at http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/docs/latest/databases/sqlserver.html and the improvements from JRA-13799 seem to be not sufficient enough for some admins.
