Please disregard the above question. I figured it out.
I have one more question. My jira version 3.12 Is the "worklog" table being used in this version? Thanks, Hi Neemila,
Yes, the worklog table is used in JIRA version 3.12. Kind regards, Ian,
Thank you. When does a row get inserted in to this table? Is it when a user enters the worklog? Beacuse my worklog table is all empty. Thanks, Hi Neelima,
Yes, a row is entered in the 'worklog' table when a user logs work done on an issue. The 'worklog' table is not used in 3.8. It was added in version 3.10, when the worklog records were moved from the 'jiraactions' table to the new 'worklog' table. This is documented here Can I ask why you are asking these questions? You really shouldn't be looking to remove tables from the JIRA database (if that is the context of these questions). For future reference. we have a separate JIRA instance, https://support.atlassian.com Kind regards, — Thanks a lot Ian. We have two verions of jira
3.12-test 3.8-prod. When I was trying out to figure out the database tables in version 3.8 and how they are populated I saw the worklog table empty. Sure from the next time, I will post questions in support forms.I really didn't knew this. Thanks, Thanks Neelima.
