Clicking "Resolve Issue" takes you to a screen where you enter comments, resolution, and the 'Fix For' version, etc..
At the top of that screen it would be useful to display the brief issue summary,
just to confirm that you are working on the expected issue.
Presently only issue Key/number is displayed.

Generally the workflow is such that you might resolve only one issue at a time you don't need the confirmation,
but when you are flipping through a list of open items to resolve and adding comments to each while being frequently interrupted,
it would be a nice sanity check to have.

Why not have the complete overview of the issue (not just the summary), similar when you are adding a comment? I actually just requested a feature as such that you can configure a screen to include all comments of the issue as well, not just the description of the issue (it doesn't have to be in edit mode). When resolving the issue this would indeed help as a sanity check to see whether all comments have been taken into account. But also for other screens related to the workflow, eg. when moving an issue from open to in progress and assign it to someone, you also want to add a comment which may include remarks based on other comments. Seeing the other comments when you are writing your own comment would really help here. I often find myself switching back and forth between those screens.

Christiaan,

Showing more information on the screen would be useful, but would also be harder to do without cluttering the screen. The feature request for showing more information on the workflow screens is JRA-13225. Please vote for it.

At the moment, I use multiple web browser tabs when necessary.

Cheers,
Anton
