Each time when I click issue link in notification message, first JIRA forwards me to Login Required page (see screenshot), then I have to click login link to load Logon page (see screenshot), then click Log In button. Very annoying - each time three clicks to see issue.

Why not to forward at once to Logon page, maybe with text from Login Required page inserted in Login box - "You cannot view this URL as a guest. You must login..."

Gents,
I am in Zambia now on very slow Internet - 2-5KB/Sec
Two clicks or three clicks is big difference for me here - each page opens 10 seconds.
Is it possible to address this issue?

Hi Sergiy,

At the moment we are not planning to address this issue. The intermediate screen shows up in places where a non-logged in user could potentially execute the action. This depends on how the permissions are setup.

I can see that if the system is setup such that non-logged in users are not allowed to do anything, it would be useful to redirect the user to the login screen straight away. This would require changes to the security framework. At the moment, due to a large number of other great suggested improvements for JIRA, we were not able to find time in our schedule to look at this.

Can I get an idea what exact URL causes the Login Required page to show up for you?

Cheers,
Anton

Hi Anton,

This would require changes to the security framework.

I am not requesting change the security framework.
I am just asking is it possible to combine two screen attached into one, not to click two times to logon.
As for me first screen is useless if you will add text from it to the standard logon screen.

Can I get an idea what exact URL causes the Login Required page to show up for you?

Any link forwarding to issue like -
https://support.ils.com.ua/projects/browse/LRSNLA-85
for example.

Cheers,
Sergiy.
