The Bazaar distributed version control system (http://bazaar-vcs.org), like Mercurial and Git, is gaining traction in the version control marketplace. Adding an extension which offers support similar to the Mercurial plugin (http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRAEXT/Mercurial+Plugin) would be valuable to our organization and many others.

Hi Jeff,

There are a lot of VCSes out there, and it is difficult for us to integrate with all of them. We only support the most popular VCS: CVS, SVN and Perforce.

Please note that that the SVN and Perforce integration are available as JIRA Plugins. There is also a user contributed plugin for ClearCase integeration. See JRA-3975.

We have also started moving JIRA/VCS integration to go more through FishEye and the JIRA FishEye Plugin:
http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRAEXT/FishEye+for+JIRA

The main reason we are moving towards FishEye, is that integrating with a VCS in a scalable manner is not a straight forward process, and deserves a lot of attention and a fair amount of expertise, which the FishEye team can provide.

Therefore, we are unlikely to be implementing a solution for Bazaar. However, it should be possible to develop a plugin that does this in a similar manner to the JIRA Clear Case Plugin:
http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRAEXT/JIRA+ClearCase+Plugin

Cheers,
Anton
