it would be nice to be able to "disable" services, rather than removing them. if for some reason one want to pause a service for an indefinite time, the only options are to delete and recreate, or to set a very large delay, which works but is a little hackish.

This would have been very useful this week - we had a mail loop we could easily have defeated had we been able to disable the service for a few minutes. We weren't able to just delete the service or change the delay time for various internal reasons.

The presence of this feature would have saved me about 12 hours of work this week (when a test instance started stealing message from a live instance for a few deays)
