We want to configure JIRA to show different content on Logon screen and on Default Dashboard for registered users.
For example, Introduction portlet should be shown on Logon, but not needed at all for users on their dashboard - it wastes a lot of screen space and useless for users who are not new in JIRA.

We are looking at implementing JRA-2509 for JIRA 4.0. I know this is not the same as this feature request, however I hope it will help.

Anton,
Hope you already have answer will this issue be addressed in 4.0 or not?
I can see JRA-2509 is being implemented now.

Hi Sergiy,

We are looking at implementing JRA-2509 for JIRA 4.0. However, this issue will not be part of that work.

At the moment we are not sure how many users would be interested in this enhancement, and as there are quite a large number of popular features, this issue was not scheduled.

Cheers,
Anton
