For workflow transitions, you can set Conditions, Validators and POST functions.
Only, what I miss as Conditions is the value of a certain field, such as Resolution. I want to show a certain transition (Pre-approve resolution) if the Resolution is Fix, but don't want to show it when it is e.g. User workaround.
Now I can only define user or subtask conditions.

For POST functions it is already possible to set a value for Resolution, which is very useful.
Can't it easily be done for Condition, too?

Hi,

This is possible via developing a JIRA workflow plugin. For more information, please see:
http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/How+to+create+Custom+Workflow+Elements+for+JIRA+3

I will leave this issue open, however, please note that we have a lot of feature and improvement requests, and we cannot address them all quickly. For more information on the way new feature and improvement requests are handled please see:

Cheers,
Anton
