It would be VERY helpful to have the ability to mark fields as required on a per screen basis. I know about the plugin that makes things required on transition but that doesn't solve all issues. I want to be able to make certain fields required when you add some issue types but not ALL issue types.

This is a duplicate of JRA-5783, and therefore I will resolve this issue.
Please vote for JRA-5783. Please keep in mind that we have thouands of feature requests and while we would love to implement all improvements it might take us some time to get to this one. For more information on the way improvements and new features are scheduled please see:
