Setting transport to SMTPS in JNDI mail resource is broken

    Description

      Setting to mail transport to SMTPS as described in our docs in order to get an SMTPS connection does not work and has not worked for a long time. Fortunately the alternative of simply setting an SSLSocketFactory appears to work for some.

      We need to either [fix the bug|MAIL-19] in atlassian-mail or fix the docs.
