I would like to bind the account of a certain user to a given IP address, i.e. only if the user logs in from the given IP, the login is successful.

We are using Jira and Confluence and make heavy use of the "jiraissues" macro in confluence. However we need to provide a username and an password in the URL to get this feature properly working. Hence it would be nice if we could create a "jiraissues" user that everyone could use in the URL. However we would need to restrict access to this user by e.g. only allowing requests from this particular user to be coming from the localhost (the same host that Jira/Confluence are running on).

It is a basic security feature for anyone using Jira/Confluence together and especially for anyone making use of some of the given macros.
