Currently all our statistics portlets just handle 'count'. We should add 'sum' for numeric fields such as 'votes' and 'duration' fields.

One thing we should be careful of is when you click through on these numbers, you won't get the right number of issues however.

The fix for this issue has not been able to make it into JIRA v3.12. We are hoping to incorporate it into v3.12.1. As of writing however, there are 163 items scheduled as Fix For v3.12.1. We will not be able to include all of them.

Just so everyone is aware - I believe that I committed all the back-end code required to make this work, but there was no UI developed as yet.
