It's a good thing that I have a portlet that allows me to show my filter, which shows the first 20 records set.
The point here, is I am wondering whether is it possible of instead going to the filter page, that I can have a button, when I click shows the next 20 (depending on value set) records and so on.

In otherwords, page scrolling within that portlet.
