When I import a list of epics, they show up in the list in Portfolio using the 'epic summary' field instead of the 'epic name'. It should use the 'epic name' as it fits more easily within the Initiatives list.

[JRACLOUD-88191] Imported epics use 'epic summary' rather than 'epic name'.

I wanted to agree with the users above and state that this is still a requested feature / improvement request.

Still an active bug 3 years after it was first reported. Bizarre.

It's already fixed? It's a really really freak issue.

Displaying the Epic Name makes more sense than displaying the Epic Summary. It could however be a setting to use either the Name or the Summary - preferably a setting for each Portfolio plan or a global Portfolio setting.

I agree, this is a serious BUG, not even a suggestion. I just inadvertently renamed a few hundred Epics because of this bug. Not fun. PLEASE FIX THIS.

This is a bug. In JIRA Agile, where Epics are normally used, "Epic Name" is the only thing that is shown everywhere.
I am evaluating Portfolio at the moment and had to go through all epics manually and copy the Epic Name to Summary for every Epic in order to make the list I see in Portfolio correspond with what I see in JIRA. It is becoming apparent to me that there is a huge disconnect between what I see in JIRA and what I see in Portfolio that would require daily manual synchronization. That totally defeats the purpose of Portfolio.
