      Atlassian update on 2020-11-12

      Portfolio for Jira was relaunched as Advanced Roadmaps and packaged as part of our Jira Software Cloud Premium offering in May 2020. This ticket is no longer valid and I will now close it. Thanks so much for all of your comments over the year and I hope you'll give the new Advanced Roadmaps experience a try!       As a programm manager I want to select the level of user license independent from the max JIRA users so that I will be proportionally charged to the amount of users who actually use Portfolio.

      Current situation:
      Portfolio will be charged according to maximum tier of the licensed JIRA application [1]. Taking into account that in a regular organization you have 5 - 10 % of project management, the Portfolio's pricing model seems disproportional to the actual user base.
