The instructions and screenshots on http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/GH/Working+with+Epics don't appear to correspond to a vanilla install of GH 5.4.1 on JIRA 4.2.4. For example, the instructions say "Locate the card you want to associate with your epic, and click the (edit) icon to the right of the 'Epic' field to edit it. (This icon will appear when your mouse pointer hovers over the Epic field)."

There is no epic card visible on my project's agile planning board.

The documentation should be about JIRA/GH's vanilla state or, if not, tell us how to get to the state necessary to follow the instructions.
