While comparing the page history is it possible to compare in rich text editor instead of Wiki mark-up? Or an option to view either in wiki-mark or rich text similar to the one while editing a page?

If the content is normal text then a non-technical user can understand the changes, but if tables or macros are used then it becomes difficult to understand where the change is, eventhough the colors specifying the changes are diferent.
Agreed, if not wiki markup, the changed/updated links cannot be known but can there be a way wherein the user can check in both (Wiki/RT)editors or atleast can the content be shown in the same way the user get notified of changes through mail(Confluence 3.0)?
