      Atlassian Update: September 16, 2021
      Hi Confluence Cloud customers,

Exciting news, we’ve been making some improvements to Search Analytics in Confluence! This analytics feature is available for our Premium edition users. Here you’ll be able to see details about search terms including their click through rate, total number of searches and number of individual users who are looking for that query, with more functionality coming soon! We’re thrilled to finally close out this long-lived ticket!

Documentation for this is available here: https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/view-insights-on-your-site/

Thank you again for persisting with us on this feature suggestion and for sharing your feedback. For any further improvement suggestions that haven’t been addressed in this change, please open a new ticket so that we can gauge interest and feedback for each request.

I would like to see what words are used the most in the search-bar.
It could be embedded to Lucene.

            Hi a6a0408fe750,

Thank you for pointing out the problem with the link!

The updated documentation talks about going to Apps and then Analytics. We are on Confluence Server and have a trial site for Cloud set up, which I managed to switch over from Standard to Premium. When I go to the Apps menu, I don't see an Analytics option. What am I missing?

We got your support case and we are working on it, we will be reaching out to you through there shortly

            Best Regards,
            Daniel B.

Can someone please point to the right, definitive documentation around this? The link in the ticket description above is horribly wrong and frustrating people. Thanks.

Thank you.  The above address is correct, but the link itself will direct you to "copy a hierarchy of page" instead. Example: https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/view-insights-on-your-site/

Added link to CONF-28959 as the two suggestions are related. The current issue is arguably a subset of CONF-28959

Adding a "me too". Being able to see most used search terms in a report would be great. Grepping an access log for "dosearchsite.action" is not really ideal.

should work fine just you wont be able to verify the domain in GA but data still should come through if you have GA and confluence setup correctly, thats how I used to run it.

best way to check GA is setup correctly is to go onto the real time dashboard and visit confluence and see if it picks you up as on the page
