The admin link to re-index Confluence should be visible to OnDemand customer admins

      NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Cloud. Using Confluence Server? See the corresponding suggestion.

      Currently customer admins cannot see the Administration -> Content Indexing option in the Confluence admin. However:

      • they can access the page (and perform re-indexes) if they go to the /wiki/admin/search-indexes.action URL directly, and
      • they can see the JIRA indexing link.

      In the interests of consistency, it seems like it would be better to open up this option to them.

            Why is this issue closed? For the life of me I've been hunting for the last 20 mins and still have yet to figure out how indexing works in confluence to fix my issue (content label macro is not displaying content for some pages). Help for this is impossible to find!

             

            I would say this issue is important and it would be nice if it's easier to find.

            Thank you for raising this issue. While I can see how this feature would be useful, we have no plans to implement it in the foreseeable future. In order to set expectations, we're closing this request now.

            When i go the like specified link, I get message saying "Not Permitted. You are not permitted to perform this operation."
            I know I am the admin for this site ... so not sure what is going on here.
            I need to reindex my OnDemand version of Confluence.
